Apa itu Blog?
Apa itu Blog? blog adalah salah satu laman web yang kebiasaannya dipelihara oleh seseorang individu atau organisasi tertentu untuk memaparkan penulisan, deskripsi, atau satu bahan grafik mahupun video. Selalunya blog mengandungi komentar, berita, perkongsian maklumat serta diari persendirian secara online. Blog juga merupakan kombinasi sesebuah teks, gambar, video, mp3 dan ‘link’ ke satu blog ke blog, laman web lain, dan antara media yang ingin di sampaikan. Format yang paling penting untuk sesebuah blog, pembaca selalunya boleh meninggalkan komen.
Kebanyakan blog dibina oleh seseorang adalah bergantung kepada inspirasi diri sendiri contohnya mereka fokus kepada seni ( art blog), fotografi, (photo blog), sketch blog, blog video, blog mp3, podcasting. Blog juga adalah salah satu media sosial yang berkembang secara meluas pada setiap masa.
Micro-blogging merupakan salah satu lagi blog berbentuk ‘post’ pendek. Pada Desember 2007, Technorati iaitu enjin pencarian blog menjumpai lebih 112 juta blog di seluruh dunia.
